Atelier-Highlights Mascha Mioni MOAT

Three prominent works Mascha Mioni shows in her atelier at the MOAT:

- Hüllen des Menschseins / Shells of Humanity

" A powerful two-tier canvas dress painted with white oil paint is surrounded by over a hundred word images made of the same material and colored in the same way. The word images lie at the feet of the dress and spread out on the floor like a ring-shaped train. ..." - complete text by art critic Marianne Mittelholzer, Wangen, in German attached as pdf below

- Letter to the Presidents

With this letter to the presidents, painted in oil on acrylic, Mascha Mioni deals with the terrible human drama in Ukraine.

- Farewells

For this dress made of canvas and pages of text, Mascha Mioni was inspired by the book "Die Abschiede" by Friedericke Mayröcker.

Mascha Mioni is curating the exhibition of aerial photographs by Carlos Rieder

The exhibition at the galleria d'art RdeC in Disentis/Mustér lasts from Dec. 12, 2020 until Jan. 23, 2021 - open upon appointment +41 81 947 5143

Together with Rico de Castelberg we modified his gallery, we dowelled and hammered.
Now the exhibition in the center of Disentis invites to let the spectacular images of the fascinating Swiss alps,
photographed by our dear friend and hobby-pilot Carlos Rieder,
impress their beauty on its viewers.
Corona guarantees, that the visit will be undisturbed.

This text (in German) relates the impression these images made on the art-mediator and meditation teacher Marian Mittelholzer:
